Our Story

Bio Beds Plus was born from a journey of discovery. While visiting developing countries, we saw firsthand how micro‑businesses could transform communities when given the right tools and knowledge. Driving through rural villages, we found small‑scale producers crafting appliances, sofas, wooden furniture, and beds in modest facilities. We also visited farms and coconut plantations, witnessing agricultural waste that was often discarded or burned.

That experience changed everything. We realized that sustainable furniture didn’t have to come from massive factories – it could start with local ingenuity and natural by‑products.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create beautiful, durable furniture while supporting sustainable practices worldwide. We started using coconut husks, board produced from sugar cane trash (bagasse), and recycled burlap sugar bags in our furnishings. These materials reduce waste, lower our carbon footprint, and provide alternative income streams for farming communities.
